1. Mark Flores & William E. Jones

Although artists Mark Flores and William E. Jones have made work side-by-side for over 20 years, they had never previously shared a two-person exhibition together. In the first Nothing Special, Flores presents a new dimensional painting alongside a series of recent collages by Jones. This exhibition encourages viewers to seek and find congruencies between two intimately related yet seemingly divergent art practices.

Mark Flores is a 2014 California Community Foundation Fellow who has exhibited the Hammer Museum.

William E. Jones a filmmaker, writer, and visual artist whose film, Tearoom, was included in the 2008 Whitney Biennial.

On view January 13 & February 17 from 3-6pm, and all other times by appointment.
